I surmised as much.

The whole point of college and education as a whole when it comes to employment is that it is a signal to employers that you're willing and able to grind your way through difficult knowledge and concepts in order to get the job done in an efficient and dependable manner.

For context, I was college educated a top-10 ranked US School, and had a shit four years studying two of the most difficult subjects avialable. I made over $200K last year after my annual bonus, and this year should be high 200's to low 300s at the very least.

School is easily worth the mental peace of mind that I will forever have in never having to worry about finding another job, or really financial matters for the average day-to-day, I accidentally over ordered at an Argentinean steakhouse one of their most expensive cuts, ended up with a bill of $250, and shrugged it off. I very much doubt a high school dropout could do the same.

yes school sets you in rows just like a factory hence grading you a-f tells you when and when not to speak and discourages free thinking.
a diploma shows you follow directions and obey orders from a higher up
