Ok, so if this suggestion is implemented, it'll take a lot of work to implement it and manage it later, but it's worth a shot.
We should have a BTC Lottery twice a month.
First lottery would begin on 1st of the month and winner picked on 15th
Second lottery would begin on 16th of the month and winner picked on 30th (28th/29th in February)
Entry fee would be around 0.01 BTC (approx. $65) and a ticket will be sent to their PM with a number on it. Admins may or may not have the details of which ticket has been assigned to which user.
Prize can be anywhere between 1 - 5 BTC (if only one winner) as I think in 15 days, at least 500 users will buy a ticket, not to mention, some may buy multiple. Multiple winning positions are also possible.
Prize can be decided by the Admins later, may be after running a test lottery round to see how many users would actually participate.
After winning, the winner has to pm @Ace for collecting the prize within three days. If the winner has been banned before the draw or is non-responsive for three days, prize may be added back to the pool for the next lottery.
Benefits:
If you set prize at 5 BTC for 0.01 BTC Entry Fee, post 500 entries, the extra money can be useful for the site's hosting costs.
A lottery will increase user activity as a 5 BTC ($32500) prize is quite an amount for only 0.01 BTC ($65) worth ticket.
So I believe this suggestion, if implemented, will also help in hosting costs as well as give users something interesting to look forward to and possibly win big money.

I'd like to know other user's views on this too, feel free to reply to this thread. It is a lot of work to set up a lottery system to accept BTC, distribute tickets, pick a winner, etc but it'll add a nice section to the forum.
