If the thread is locked, then it wouldn't be bumped...Which means the thread will die out.
You can edit the thread saying "sold" and close it, or just junk the whole thread.

I mean yeah, that's the whole point. The thread would be marked as sold after the deal was made so that the thread isn't bumped anymore.

The thread could be junked but my suggestion is mainly for organizational purposes. It would be nice to be able to see all of the things that you or someone else has sold before making a deal with them or just to flex.

Good idea, but you can close the thread which stops all replies, also it’d benefit Autoclaimers and scammers because they can tell if something gets sold its more than likely going to be swapped, this allows them to add it to their list and get a chance at claiming it.. also, I feel like this would have to be done manually which would mean some people forget to mark it sold. Also for big shops, it wouldn’t fit as people sell more than just one handle.
No hate, just reasons why I can see this hasn’t already been implemented Heart

I get what you're saying but isn't that what vouches are for?

True, all very good points. I feel like there could be some way that we could make it not benefit autoclaimers but I'm not sure. Potentially the OP could wait until everything is swapped or whatever else needs to be done before marking it as sold. Maybe the thread would require the permission of the OP and the buyer before marking it as sold. I don't know, all just some ideas.

Also yes, this would not apply to big shops unless they sold completely out of their stock and felt they had no need for the thread anymore and wanted to mark it as sold out.

Partially. It'd be good to be able to see exactly who has sold what though in my opinion. I don't know, again, just a suggestion and I just feel like it'd be a cool/simple addition to the forums.

I mean you get the perk to close a thread when you hit solar but I genuinely do think this should be an option.

Once it’s in sold it should do the same as closed
Where no one can comment.
