Introduction
This will be a quick step by step guide to teach you how to get started using bitcoin.
Every step will have some text explaining everything and some images underneath it in case you're having a hard time understanding/finding something.
If you wanna know more about cryptocurrencies in general please take a look here.
Step One: Setting up an online wallet
A wallet is needed to store your bitcoin and to send/recieve them.
There are alot of wallets out there but for this guide I'll be recommending Blockchain, because of it's many security options and user friendly interface.
First thing you will want to do is sign up here. Which is really straight forward just fill in your email and choose a strong password.
After you have done this it will open up your wallet, but wait! You're not done yet.
You will still need to make your account more secure, to do this you will need to go to the security center.
I recommend you at least verify your email and setup a Backup Recovery Phrase to secure your wallet.

Transaction fees can be really confusing as of now because they're fluctuating alot.
If you wanna keep things simple just use the Regular/Priority options and look at the estimated time that Blockchain gives you.
In case you want to go more advanced you can use this website to calculate your own custom fee.
Becareful doing this because making a mistake can mean that your transaction won't be confirmed for a long time.
To recieve bitcoin you will need to give the person/website you want to recieve bitcoins from your recieve address.
You can find this address by clicking on the request button, there it will be under the 'Copy & Share Address' section.

When recieving bitcoin you need to becareful because transactions have these so called confirmations to confirm if a transaction is correct.
You can use the bitcoins you have recieved without waiting for confirmations but it's safer to wait for them.
In case you don't have time to wait for the confirmations please check out this guide made by @Zeb this will eliminate most risks.
Step Three: Where to buy Bitcoin
There alot of place to buy bitcoin and every place has it's own positive and negative points.
I'll be listing 3 popular places with their respective positive and negative points.
