Void Ability to create "Profile Only" threads/and or create Updates on profiles

Just so people are able to update other users, older customers about the closing of a service you provided, when you've junked/closed the thread already. Or the ability to update others on your profile (The same concept of just being able to let others see where a thread/service lies at the moment), making a thread is a big step in when selling on this site, it's the first point of sale, so having a smaller or more minimal way of letting people see where you're at with things like a profile thread or an update section would really help.
