Oh okay I gotcha, so you're more so looking for live notifications? 

That'd definitely be cool to have here on OGU but am not sure how it would effect overall site load times/individual page load times.

Personally I wouldn't pay for it as I don't mind refreshing the page, I'm actually very used to a "non-live" notification system as it is already so I wouldn't see a reason for me to make the switch.
