I think this would be a cool thing to the site so users can all talk to each other instead of pming or posting all on a thread, this'll probably be denied but just saying something that came to my mind.
Users can add their Friend's and others to talk in a chat. Also would be good for Groups instead of making group chats off-site, it would be right here. Ik it would take a lot of work and time and probably slow down the sight but again, just something that came to my mind
