After viewing the recent event of another triangle scam, I was driven the incentive to create this thread. I myself was a victim of a triangle scam in the past and it’s absolutely devastating to lose the hard earned money that was intended to go towards something you wanted. With that said, here’s my suggestion.
I have thought out the concept of Staff/Trusted having groups onsite for the sole purpose of managing deals.
How would this work? Let me explain and show you the steps.
Two people onsite want to have a deal made but need the use of a middleman. They found a middleman that they both agree on using and stated the deal in PMs. These are the steps for where an onsite Middleman Group comes into play.
• The Middleman invites both members to the group.
• The Sub Forum “Middleman Group” (concept name) then opens up for the members to access and deal with the middleman.
• They proceed onto a thread created by the Middleman of the deal stated in PMs.
• *deal goes down via posts* *deal completion is met*
• Everyone says their thank you’s, the Middleman removes them from the “Middleman Group”, and that’s a deal completed safely.
This concept of dealing with a middleman zeroes out impersonation of any sort going on offsite. Everything goes down onsite between the members of the community. Leave a like on this thread if you support this concept and feel free to reply to the thread if you have anything to add to this.
