Step 1: Change the password.
Login to Mojang.com, and go to settings.

Make sure to use a password that isn't guessable, to make it as safe as possible.

IMPORTANT: Transaction ID.
When you buy an account, there's a chance the seller will provide you with the TID too.
When you lose access to an account, you can contact customer support with the TID and gain back access.
The TID is necessary because this is the only way Mojang Customer Support can verify you are the actual owner of the account.

"Most sellers don't provide the TID to the account.
It keeps the account safe and secure, and also if the account were to become a scam account in the future,
then you'd be able to recover it for whoever got scammed unless Mojang asks for extra OG info that you're unable to provide for whatever reason."
-@Zyger

If you need help gettings TID's for Minecraft accounts, @Glove offers a service for it.

How to: remove the security questions.
Watch the tutorial here
( Thanks for  letting me know @Alcohol )

EXTRA: Security tips:
Use a complex password with letters, numbers, CAPS and lower case.
-
Don't use a password that you are also using for something else.
-
NEVER give your account info to anyone, unless you are selling the account.

CONTACT: Customer Support
