Hey Homie, I was also on zoloft for about a year, It actually made things much worse for me.. Mood swings and just generally feeling like shit went up by 30-40% I expected it at first because the doctors told me it would get worse for the first few weeks-month but nothing changed. I started to take drugs heavily after about 6 months (coke & H) to just numb everything.
I finally decided a year in to stop zoloft and drugs.. Wasn't as easy as I thought, H wasn't hard to kick because I only used once ever 2ish weeks when I was really feeling down, but I was hard core addicted to coke snorting minimum a .5 gram a day (spent over $15,000 in a year on it) Thank god I ran out of money because I wouldn't have looked for help otherwise.
I told my mom about everything she helped me get clean with a couple of hiccups. It really only took 2 days of sweating and nightmares to get off it for myself. But at the end of it all I realized how selfish I was being and that I have so many people that love me and thats what has kept me clean.
ps. Sorry I meant to make this short but started typing and couldn't stop haha. Good luck my man.
