If the expected value of the award is once per 1,500 posts, then you are statistically almost guaranteed to get it once you hit around 15,000 posts in the period. Look up binomial probability distributions. 1,100 posts puts you at an under 50% chance. Keep in mind, each chance is atomically generated per post.
