Because they paved the way for everything musically?

That Tay-K is some 17 year old wanna-be hard nut who is in jail for being a little freak, would never survive in the 70's or 80's regardless of how old they are now, most people prefer music back then as music used to be for the intellectuals and now its for people like you.

This dude would walk all over the wanna-be gangster lmao

I listen to everything from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Thats when music was actually good and had talent.

I'm completely open to today's music and have found lots of it, problem is it doesn't break 100,000 views.

I get the joke you're doing, we started that shit when kids would come on music videos and be like ''I'm 12, I love The Smiths please notice me im so different''.. they crave attention and it's completely understandable, being youthful and surrounded by idiots is really really hard.

You know, there is talented musicians today exactly like that the only problem is they don't get on the charts because just like everything in the world people follow a trend and like the same shit.

I do agree though, people take it the wrong way and think you're one of those ''fuck music today'' people, I'm very open to music today I just wish it was better.. although there are so many good bands out there with around 70-90,000 views at most.

Hmm, you see I wouldn't go to a party with people like that so I guess that's where I'm being a little over judgemental, most people I know are into similar stuff I am.. although it's very hard to find people like that.

I do see a lot of people (and know) some hypebeasts who are into rap and seem to bob around a little when they play it on their iphones.

Curious, what would you consider decent music?

Todays musicians only care about making money. Its all about who can make the biggest hit song and stay ontop of the charts nobody cares about the message people spread through music or the emotions they put into it. Everyone likes one thing to fit in so they dont seem like the odd one out. Its pretty lame tbh

Well put my friend.

Music has no meaning, rappers singing about twerking, guns and boobies on face its ridiculous, I don't know why I cringe so much at it either... I also question how music like that stays in the charts?

''We all like Lil Yachty so we can fit in and be different but basic at the same time.''
