Here is a continuation of an earlier post where I explained that "Priest" is a scammer.
He claims to be selling the OG PSN tag "Greatest", which he does in fact own, but is taking people's money. My post from earlier was closed by a moderator so I'm assuming he has some ties with the individuals who govern this site. Totally my fault for not using a middle man or further verifying him, but this post is to ensure no one gets scammed again. If you can tag a moderator on this post to bring it some attention, I'd greatly appreciate it. Damn shame what this community has come to, but here go:
This transaction began on March 1st. "Priest" posted that he was selling an OG PSN by the name of "Greatest". I am a new user to the site and because of this, couldn't send him a direct PM. Nonetheless, I was highly interested and saw that he was available for inquiries via Discord. His name is "___#0099" (I;m sure someone on here has connected with him before through Discord so please help confirm this information if you can).

He explains that he had no offers at the moment but does tell me the price range he is looking to sell for. I offer him respectfully and he explains he will consider but will pend for a few days in case he gets more offers. I told him to contact me whenever he was ready to sell. But I also ask him what method of payment he prefers. He tells me Paypal Good and Services is against his policy, he prefers BTC. This screamed scam but because of his reputation on OGU, I figured I had nothing to worry about (biggest mistake on my part).

**This is where he screws himself in terms of avoiding involvement**
A few days later (March 4th), he contacts me explaining that he hasn't received any offers because OGU had been down for a week+. At this time, I was on vacation and didn't habe my discord notifications on so I didn't reply until 11 days later (March Nonetheless, I am ready to proceed with the transaction so I ask him at 7:13pm to send me a message from the OG account. He sends this message within 5 minutes (don't mind the time on screenshot, it shows an hour later but I've recently moved to CT from EST and haven't changed my PS settings). But in a later screenshot, he tells me THROUGH PSN that he only sent the message to allow his friend to "feel cool"... Complete BS. At least cover your tracks d***head.

Of course to any innocent buyer, with the combination of his reputation on a known marketplace and his ability to send me a message almost instantly from an account I am interested in- he was legit and I was ready to proceed with the transaction. I asked him how he would like to receive the funds and he told me through Coinbase. Anyone familiar with coinbase knows that it takes a few days to become verified. Once verified (March 20th), I reach back out to tell him I am ready to send the funds. He receives them and tells me that there are two confirmations he needs to wait for to have complete access.

Of course, following this, I am blocked through discord so I immediately contact him through PSN. He acts oblivious to the situation of course..

Unfortunate story for us both. I lost 300$, and he'll now be losing his reputation and both his PSN and Discord accounts. This entire dialogue has been sent to both companies and I've received a response from PSN that this account will be banned for fraudulent transactions. You hate to see it lol..
Imagine me going through all of this to try to ruins someone reputation.. lol, NO.
Moderators, please stop allowing these people to prosper illegally on your marketplace.
Considering his word over mine due to the age of his account is absolutely ridiculous. My previous thread should have never been closed. I am simply trying to help the community avoid a scammer.
