Still confused on how to 100% secure an account after changing the email.

Here is what I did:

1. I bought a FN account that came with the original GMAIL.
2. I contacted Epic and had it switched to a new personal gmail
3. I left the OGE alone for a while. Nothing weird happened.
4. I deleted all content, profiles, and the gmail account itself. There is no way to access it anymore. It has been several months since then so I am pretty sure it is beyond recovery.

Am I 100% safe after my steps 3 and 4?

@Prophett @Fortnight @SLG @booby @fey @Proof Tagging ya'll because I think you have all had 100% success with safe email changes. Please help!
