Hey there, I just had Cole Tidswell try to scam me by pretending to be Rolex on Discord. He uses the name "RoIex" which is a capital i instead of an L. Clever. I think it would help if everything were always lower case to avoid these issues.

That doesn't make any sense. You can use fake characters as well. Confirm onsite and you won't have issues.

however you capitalize your name, you can always be impersonated by fake chars 

everyone using lower case wouldn’t change anything

People would just use fake characters more often.

Hint:
Use online character checkers, confirm on-site and double check shady stuff.
