Alright so I see a lot of people on here that don't accept PayPal, I know sometimes it's because of anonymity but I feel like it can also be because of how easy it is to buy something, then charge back the money and scam. Thought I'd share my own personal method of avoiding this. Please note that this is NOT 100% fool-proof, however the risk of being charged back is greatly reduced, and the other person will need to provide lots of proof and spend many hours dealing with the retards at PayPal support in order to get their money back.

Anyways, the trick is to tell your buyer to include a note that says the following:

"This transaction is a payment for goods which I have already received, I will not under any circumstances charge back or attempt to receive a refund."

MAKE SURE that note is attached to the payment, otherwise send it right back to them and tell them to send it again with the note.

Lmk if this helps any of you

Problem to this is if he claims there was unauthorised access the note wouldn't have been written by him

It's smart in theory, but notes don't mean anything to PayPal when it comes to a dispute. All the person has to do is make the payment from a different IP address (vpn/reverse proxy), and then claim that they never made the payment. You'll get the chargeback either way.

No PayPal method is fool proof, however your best chances of avoiding a chargeback are to use PayPal invoices to request payments...

I've had someone do this once before, and (in my experience) PayPal will check records, depending on the login location they can determine if it was hacked, AND in instances like this where the buyer attached that note they will ask for identity verification (so if it was a fake name on the PayPal the scammer is now SOL)

See my note above regarding VPNs/reverse proxies... If someone used fake information to create the PayPal account then there's an even greater likelihood that the payment will be charged back...

I always ask people with bigger payments to put "I will not chargeback on this virtual item no matter the circumstances"

I do that and use a dummy paypal for extra security.

"By sending this payment I agree that if I charge back @Halo can legally come to my house and kick my ass and bang my sister"

That's the note.
