Hello,
A new Discord change made it so if you have a "reserved" discrim (one that requires Discord Nitro to get typically) without Nitro, you can no longer change the name without losing the discriminator.
If you do change the name, there is a good chance of it being randomized, whether or not the tag is already taken or not.
From my testing so far, it is only in effect on these reserved discrims, when a new IP changes the account name.
If you have ever bought an account from: @henri @Th3Cr4zyDi4m0nd / @nel, @UC or I this may affect you as well, although I doubt the change was back-dated to accounts you have bought before this went into effect.
