Can I do anything with a scammers console #?

This dude scammed me and when i went on the account I noticed I still had the serial number that was on his Xbox. I googled some stuff and seen I could try calling Microsoft and report it as stolen to make in unusable. Anyone ever try this before or have any other suggestions of anything I can do?

Yes, you can get his console device banned with his console id.

Report his accounts etc, it will get him banned no doubt.
