I've been doing tiktok for a few months now, and I'm pretty close with some of the big creators (includes LilHuddy, Lopez Brothers, etc.) There's some extra tricks that many people do not know, as most of these tricks are told to us by our social media managers who have contact with tiktok.
1. You need to post consistently 3 times a day for about a month to get viral videos. You should post these, morning, afternoon, and night for best range of viewers.
2. The Tiktok algorithm changes biweekly, whether this means videos with more shares get pushed one period, and videos with more comments get pushed the next.
3. Tiktok likes when you interact with other videos, so make sure you spend at least 10 minutes a day, scrolling on the for you page, liking and commenting on videos as well.
These are the main tricks many people don't know, hope it helped somewhat. :D
