Turbos/Autoclaimers

Soooooo, I think that the rule of turboing someone's handle and that resulting in a ban should be removed. If the person who is swapping their @ attempts to hand swap it or uses a slow ass turbo and end up losing the swap. It should be their fault, not the person who turboed it. They also are taking the risk of losing their own username once they click the "change username button". People can take precautionary measures that  for a handle to not be turbo'ed and swapped safely(use a swapping service).
I really don't see the difference between when verdict is "autoclaiming" @s V.S. someone turboing a @. I think its a petty rule that this com needs to get rid of. If you lose a swap, oh well don't come back on here and bitch that someone turbo'ed you're @. You legit take the risk of losing the @ once you attempt to transfer it.

I agree but it also doesn't matter, anyone can sit on it for awhile wait for the person to cool down and forget then they say bought it with fake dms.

100% agree. If you get turboed it is your own fault. Once you change your username, you no longer own it as it freed up to all 1 billion users of Instagram. Anyone could have claimed it.

I'm on the other side of this. I think auto claiming shouldn't be allowed either.

Swapping is a common practice in this community. It's almost necessary to ensure security on certain platforms. The fact that people target usernames owned by members here is scummy.
